Voice Actor - French Speakers (AI Training)

About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with hundreds of millions of French speakers around the world? We're looking for professional French-speaking voice actors and voice-over artists to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech - helping frontier AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and authentically human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed - just your craft, your voice, and a quality recording setup.

What You'll Do

• Record high-quality French voice samples based on provided scripts and creative prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for naturalness, pronunciation, expressiveness, and overall quality
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to help improve AI-generated speech
• Review and refine scripts to ensure clarity, flow, and authentic delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Professional experience in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar fields
• Native or near-native fluency in French
• Access to a high-quality microphone and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver clear, expressive, and engaging vocal performances consistently
• Sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and nuance in spoken language
• Detail-oriented when evaluating speech quality across a range of styles and registers

Nice to Have

• Experience recording for commercial, editorial, or character voice projects
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or home studio workflows
• Knowledge of regional French variations - European, Canadian, African, or otherwise
• Prior exposure to AI audio evaluation or speech data projects
