ENC Bookkeeper

Ex Nihilo Capital is a rapidly growing boutique private equity firm focused on niche healthcare service industries. We're an exciting, fast-moving investment firm that is highly collaborative, and values the contributions of our team.

We are expanding our team! We are seeking a full-time bookkeeper for general bookkeeping for our firm and portfolio companies.

What you will do here:

• General bookkeeping for Ex Nihilo Capital and ENC's various portfolio companies
• Work closely with ENC's Accounting team.
• Produce periodic financial statements -- P&Ls & balance sheets
• Accurately classifying all expenses, including credit card expenses; communicate with portfolio companies for follow up
• Monitor bank accounts for irregularities
• Understanding accrual basis accounting
• Support regulatory compliance
• Bank requisitions
• Filing admissions, sales and use tax returns
• File management and confidentiality
• Tax preparation
• Batching large volume of transactions through excel into accounting software
• Special projects that may come up periodically

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred
• Excellent work ethic: ability to self-manage time
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Multi-disciplinary skill set
• MUST be able to pivot in working with several types of businesses in the day-to-day tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year

• Accrual accounting: 5 years (Required)
