Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling, meat cutting, and food preparation, with a focus on delivering high-quality products to our customers. This role involves precise knife skills, adherence to food safety standards, and excellent customer service. The Meat Cutter will play a vital role in ensuring the freshness, safety, and presentation of our meat products while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Duties Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specified standards and customer orders Package meat products securely for retail or wholesale distribution Ensure all meat handling complies with food safety regulations and sanitation standards Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations when needed Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and product quality throughout the production process Experience Previous experience in food production or food preparation is preferred Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cutting techniques are essential Experience in the food industry, especially in meat cutting or food handling roles, is highly desirable Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards is required Restaurant experience or work within the food industry will be considered a plus This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and dedication to quality are valued.
