BookkeeperRemote Rate: $5-6/hr, based on experienceWork Setup: Remote / Work From HomeSchedule: Part-Time | 4:00 AM–8:00 AM PDTRequirement: QuickBooks ProficiencyAbout the Role:We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations for a growing business, working a consistent part-time morning shift. You'll be responsible for keeping the books accurate and current — reviewing transactions, tracking cash balances, handling payments and bills, and reconciling accounts — while also supporting month-end closing and financial reporting. This role requires someone who is comfortable working independently within a set daily schedule and can be trusted to keep the numbers clean and up to date. You'll work primarily in QuickBooks, Monday.com, and MS 365, and check in weekly with the team to review progress and prioritiesAs a Bookkeeper, You Will Be Responsible For:Daily Tasks:Reviewing and categorizing bank transactionsTracking and updating the daily cash balanceReceiving and recording customer paymentsPaying bills and recurring expensesPerforming account reconciliationsManaging the shared mailbox for financial correspondenceMaintaining documentation for financial processes and recordsCompleting other ad hoc tasks upon requestPreparing and presenting a weekly check-in summary (PPT)Month-End Closing & Periodic Responsibilities:Preparing the Bank Reconciliation ReportPreparing the Segmented Profit & Loss Report by business line, year-to-dateReviewing and analyzing operating expenses for the monthPreparing the Budget vs. Actual ReportReviewing and reconciling contractor reimbursementsReviewing client contracts in Monday.comCompleting client invoicing once per monthAdditional Reporting:Maintaining the AR Dashboard ReportPreparing the Monthly Revenue ProjectionSupporting Financial Report ConsolidationContributing to the AI-based Financial Report (Claude-based reporting)What Makes You a Great Fit?You have hands-on bookkeeping experience, including transaction categorization, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivableYou're proficient in QuickBooks and comfortable learning tools like Monday.com and MS 365You're detail-oriented and take accuracy seriously, especially when it comes to cash balances and reconciliationsYou're comfortable working a fixed early-morning schedule (4:00 AM–8:00 AM PDT) independentlyYou can manage a structured daily task list without close supervisionYou have experience preparing month-end reports such as P&L, budget vs. actual, and bank reconciliationsYou have strong written communication skills for client and team correspondenceYou're organized and reliable, and consistently meet deadlinesNice to Haves:Experience preparing segmented P&L reports by business lineExperience with budget vs. actual reporting and operating expense analysisExperience with contractor reimbursement review and reconciliationFamiliarity with AI-assisted financial reporting toolsExperience supporting multiple clients or business lines simultaneouslyExperience preparing an AR dashboard or revenue projectionsPlease note: This job post does not guarantee immediate client onboarding.
